E26: A (very) short history of life on earth

We sat down with Dr. Henry Gee to discuss his book, A (Very) Brief History of Life on Earth.

A fascinating book that takes us on a journey of billions of years, from the formation of our solar system and the appearance of the bacteria responsible for oxygenating the atmosphere and oceans, to the earliest multicellular organisms that gave rise to the more complex creatures that preceded us. A book with great educational value but as interesting and captivating as a science fiction novel.
